On our Travel & Adventure segment of "Waking Dream Radio" called Ventana Latina host and producer Evelina talks with Heather Lincoln, mother of three and wife of chiropractic neurologist with a busy practice in Sonoma County, California whose interest in a “richer, deeper lifestyle” brought her whole family to Costa Rica during the Christmas season of December 2016.

Many believe that life in a developing country such as Costa Rica would be far inferior to that of richer countries such as the the United States. But, Costa Rican touriar resorts can be just as luxurios and accomodating as any 5 star hotel in the U.S.

Heather also points out that as soon as they got off the plane, her family felt what she called the “warm, welcoming Carribean like weather.” She felt like the air itself was a call to adventure. A sharp contrast from the below freezing temperatures common in Northern California during the Christmas holiday season.

We talk with Heather about her journey to the beaches of Marbella, and how it was in the coastal, surfing lifestyle that the Lincoln family found what Costa Ricans call “La Pura Vida” which means pure life or the good life along with some unexpected surprises too.
